Neon is a synthwave platformer game for mobile devices in which players control a sentient slime, sliding and jumping through levels using corresponding color abilities of double jump, air dash, and wall jump to collect gold disks and reach the portal at the end.
During this project, I was one of two Artists. As an Artist, I helped drive the overall art style and create game assets and marketing materials. I designed the game character and created frame animations to convey movement. I also designed and created the level background, menu elements, HUD, marketing poster, and a promotional trailer.
My duties included participating in daily stand up meetings, assisting with documentation, and contributing to art creation.
